Highlights include the Town Hall with 16th century arches and a coat of arms and the Gothic church of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, as well as the hermitages of San Pascual and San Roque. You will love walking around to see these buildings!
Of course, we recommend stopping at Ibero, the History Museum of the Villa de Monforte del Cid, where you can enjoy sculptures of bulls from the Iberian era and even a Roman tombstone. In fact, near Monforte del Cid and Novelda is the Finca el Campet, where the remains of a large Roman Villa have been found.
